Kate Middleton decides to make big change at Christmas Carol Service

Princess Kate is set to surprise royal fans with a special change at her yearly Christmas Carol Service.

The Princess of Wales will likely wear her sapphire engagement ring which she recently replaced with another band during her Southport visit.

In conversation with GB, the jewellery expert James Harris claimed that Catherine saved her sapphire ring for significant royal engagements.

He said, “It’s very likely that Kate will wear her engagement ring during the Christmas Carol concert this year, as she often does for public events, especially those with royal significance.”

“Her iconic sapphire ring is almost always visible at high-profile events and was photographed at last year’s concert whilst she took on hosting duties,” the expert added.

For the unversed, the ring once belonged to Kate’s husband Prince William’s mother, Princess Diana.

Speaking of the jewellery piece’s worth, James said, “Well-known for being one of the most famous royal rings, it features a stunning 12-carat oval sapphire, complemented by 14 diamonds, and set in white gold.”

“The sapphire is a deep, rich blue that makes it all the more striking, especially against Kate’s elegant and refined outfits,” he stated.

For the unversed, Kate Middleton is all set to host the Christmas Carol Concert at Westminster Abbey on December 6.

The occasion will be the Princess’ first organised event after her chemotherapy.
