Taylor Sheridan, the Yellowstone creator got an A-list model to star in a close role to his own character.
Spoilers ahead.
Sunday’s penultimate episode of Yellowstone, titled Give the World Away, featured a standout sequence for Sheridan, who also plays horse trainer Travis Wheatley.
Sheridan’s character took center stage, showing off his horse-riding skills, rugged charm, and his ability to attract attention, including a surprise cameo by supermodel Bella Hadid.
In the episode, Kelly Reilly’s Beth travels to Texas after realizing the family ranch must be sold to pay off mounting debts.
Expecting to find Travis selling their prized horses, Beth instead stumbles upon him playing strip poker with three blondes. Before interrupting his game, Beth is greeted at the door by Hadid’s character, who mistakes her for a masseuse.
“You seem like a moderately intelligent woman,” Beth quips to Hadid. “How can you work for this f–k?”
Hadid’s character coolly replies, “I would never work for a horse trainer. Travis is my boyfriend.”
Beth, never one to hold back, shoots back, “I take the intelligent part back.”
The interaction escalates when Beth questions what Hadid’s character sees in Travis, describing him as “the most arrogant man I’ve ever met. Condescending, misogynistic, 25 years older than you.” Hadid’s sharp retort? “You ever seen him ride before?”
Travis then takes to the arena, displaying his expert cutting skills on horseback. Even Beth can’t deny his talent, admitting, “Okay yeah I get it.”
The scene wraps up with Travis’s playful antics. While Beth tries to convince him to return to Yellowstone to help auction their horses, he coaxes her into playing a round of strip poker.
However, Travis stops her just in time, admitting it was all in good fun.
“You’re such a f–king child!” Beth exclaims, though she does secure his help—free of charge.
