Timothée Chalamet thinks he’s ‘hardest working man’ in Hollywood

Timothée Chalamet has recently reflected on being the “busiest star” in Hollywood.

Speaking on Theo Von’s This Past Weekend podcast, Chalamet revealed he had got done with Dune: Part Two, Wonka, A Complete Unknown as well as Marty Supreme in 2024.

“You’re never supposed to say you’re competitive but there’s been a lot of music biopics and I wanted to do a great job,” said the 28-year-old.

The Little Women actor remarked, “I love Bob Dylan, I love this artist. None of this is for granted.”

Chalamet explained, “There is this little misconception about actors too. You can have a cushy job on a TV show. If you are serious about your work, it could be a great lifestyle.”

“You’re making like high six figures, low seven figures, and you’re just showing up when you want,” he said.

The Don’t Look Up actor mentioned that if one is serious about what they are doing, then “these are long days”.

“These are 14-hour days, six days a week, for three months. I know people got it way harder but I want to feel that grit,” pointed out Chalamet.

The Lady Bird actor also hoped that people won’t laugh at his comment, noting, “I feel like I’m the hardest working man.”

“Maybe I shouldn’t say that. Why do this if you’re not going to go as hard as possible?” stated Chalamet.

Elsewhere in the interview, the actor talked about his role in Josh Safdie’s movie, Marty Supreme.

“Basically, I shot this movie ‘Marty Supreme’ all fall. This crazy director, Josh, it was kind of that [‘Uncut Gems’] energy, that chaotic thing,” said Chalamet.

The Loving Leah actor dished, “It wasn’t like a low energy shoot. This was like 16-hour days for three months.”

“Then I went right into this [‘A Complete Unknown’ press tour],” he added.
