Ryan Reynolds gushed about his close friend pop superstar Taylor Swift after she concluded her record-breaking Eras Tour.
The Deadpool & Wolverine actor gushed about the 14-time-Grammy winner’s stage presence in conversation with The Hollywood Reporter on Sunday, December 15th.
When asked by the outlet if attending the Anti-Hero hitmaker’s concert provided research, the actor said the show is “a thing to witness.”
Reynolds replied, “Research? There’s no comp for that. It’s a thing to witness.”
“I told Taylor a while ago that I wish she had the opportunity to watch herself from the audience, even for a moment,” he praised.
Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively attended three Eras Tour shows, October 25th and 26th in New Orleans, as well as May 29th in Madrid.
The Deadpool actor previously shares similar feelings for Swift, as he took to Instagram and wrote, “I don’t understand the unimaginable work, care, talent and discipline @taylorswift generates to create an experience like this because I’m not a scientist. It’s an athletic event and a collective cultural phenomenon.”
“It’s gigantic but intimate. The only bummer is she can’t be in the audience to experience what everyone else sees and feels. To watch herself up there is something I wish she could know. But that isn’t physically possible and even if it were, you can’t just get tickets last minute.”
Reynolds, Lively and Swift have been longtime pals since 2015 and have since been spotted enjoying parties together and more recently at Kansas City Chiefs games in support of the pop star’s boyfriend Travis Kelce.
